Introduction:
Aperio GT 450 - Automated, High Capacity Digital Pathology Scanner with 3 New Features
Integrating Innovation with Automation for the Research Laboratory
At Leica Biosystems, we aim to enable researchers to accelerate their journey, transforming scientific exploration into translational outcomes. Our goal is to shape the future with novel technologies that inspire every researcher’s exploration of biology.
The Aperio GT 450 is proven scanning technology that consists of three upgrades that improve image quality and flexible scanning solutions in research settings: Z-Stack Scanning, Automatic Narrow Stripe, and 20x Magnification.
Z-Stack Scanning
Multiplane scanning that produces a composite, 3D image that enables research pathologists to review slide samples at varied levels of thickness, similar to a traditional microscope.
Automatic Narrow Stripe Scanning
Quality control that enables an automatic rescan of a slide when the system detects image quality issues resulting from a tilted slide or tilted tissue. Allows users to save time in their workflow by not re-preparing or readjusting slides, thus reducing labor hours.
20x Magnification
In addition to 40x magnification, operators will have the option to scan slides at 20x magnification – our solution to saving space.

Digital Pathology Scanner Aperio CT 6
Contact
Digital Pathology Scanner Aperio CT 6
Flux : 6 pieces 1 by 3 inches, 3 pieces 2 by 3 inches, 1 piece 4 by 3 inches
Speed : 40s/ film (20x objective lens scanning area 15mm x 15mm)
Resolution : 0.38um /pixel (20x) 0.19um /pixel (40x)
Introduction:
The Aperio CT 6 features excellent imaging performance and user-friendly functional design, which utilizes less slide movement and operation to improve the efficiency of scanning and image reading, while providing superior image quality as you expect. Its full-field digital slices are widely used in scientific research, education, drug safety evaluation, forensic pathology, and other fields.
I. High-Quality Image Quality
Accumulated over 150 years of optical technology; the prism camera truly restores tissue colors; adopts high-fidelity color restoration technology to enhance sensitivity to red colors and precisely restore color details of H&E slices.
II. Multiple Brightfield Slice Scanning
Supports four types of brightfield slice scanning; developed specialized algorithms for special slices like light-colored ones; supports scanning of more sizes of slices, allowing quick switching to large slide scanning mode; for tissues with uneven thickness, it can perform multi-layer scanning and fusion imaging.
III. Efficient Workflow
Leica Aperio line-scan technology for fast imaging and improved efficiency; automatic mode and manual mode can be switched freely; Leica's comprehensive solution for scanning imaging, image reading, management, and analysis.
